Round Thatched Huts and Gazebos...

There are four different size round thatched huts in our range, but without exception, every single one is hand built to order with no compromise on quality of either materials or workmanship. We feel we have a size to suit all needs and gardens.

Our thatched huts are made from high quality redwood and douglas fir rather than the cheaper pine kits you will see offered. We do this as pine will easily split under adverse weather conditions. All our timber components are fully treated with tanalith E which offers many years of protection against the weather.

A short phone call will enable us to establish exactly what kind of surface the hut is to be installed on, and it is very unlikely that you the customer will have to carry out any pre-preparation works other than move any valued plants or ornaments. It will be almost certain that you will not have to employ people to provide a level solid base.

We can fit onto uneven lawns, soil, concrete etc, or existing patios or decking, nothing is a problem! We offer a full nationwide installation service, and all our prices include this. This is UK mainland only but we have installed in Ireland and are looking forward to an opportunity to install a hut in Europe!

Umgowa (2.8m diameter thatched roof)

This is the smallest thatched hut in our range, but one of the most popular. It is ideal for a few people to sit round for an evening meal or a few drinks, and is small enough to be a striking feature whilst not being too imposing. This particular hut has been well used as an outside reading and play area at a primary school.

Kiswasti (3.2m diameter thatched roof)

This is a nice sized hut for those who often like to eat or spend time outside. It will comfortably sit five or six people without being too squashed. It is ideal for a small intimate evening with friends. It also makes a lovely shelter for a sand pit or paddling pool, and the entrance can be easily blocked off to contain a toddler, or indeed toddlers, without them feeling 'cooped up'.

Tombola (3.8m diameter thatched roof)

The Tombola is our ‘mid-range’ size thatched hut. It will easily seat 8 people around a decent sized table. As with all the huts, it can be tucked in a corner, or placed prominently as a striking feature.

Alakefik (4.2m diameter thatched roof)

This is the largest round thatched hut in our range. It is easily big enough to seat a small group of friends, or family gathering. A lot of our customers have used this thatched hut for a small hot tub. These are also one of the most popular sized round thatched huts in schools or nurseries, for use as an outdoor classroom, or eating area.
