Oval Thatched Huts and Gazebos...

There are three different size oval thatched huts in our range, but without exception, every single one is hand built to order with no compromise on quality of either materials or workmanship. We feel we have a size to suit all needs and gardens. The oval huts are equally as beautiful as our round ones, with the advantage of basically having a bit more space inside.

Our thatched huts are made from high quality redwood and douglas fir rather than the cheaper pine kits you will see offered. We do this as pine will easily split under adverse weather conditions. All our timber components are fully treated with tanalith E which offers many years of protection against the weather.

A short phone call will enable us to establish exactly what kind of surface the hut is to be installed on, and it is very unlikely that you the customer will have to carry out any pre-preparation works other than move any valued plants or ornaments. It will be almost certain that you will not have to employ people to provide a level solid base.

We can fit onto uneven lawns, soil, concrete etc, or existing patios or decking, nothing is a problem! We offer a full nationwide installation service, and all our prices include this. This is UK mainland only but we have installed in Ireland and are looking forward to an opportunity to install a hut in Europe!

This, the smallest of our oval thatched huts, is a very useful size. It can be tucked away in smaller gardens, or be placed against a courtyard wall to create a peaceful space to sit and read or entertain a few guests. As with all the ovals, the extra length enables a table and chairs to be used at one side, whilst leaving an open area for people to ‘sit out’ but still join in..

Tombola-Oval (3.8m x 5.6m thatched roof)

This mid range oval thatched hut is a good size for having a large table and chairs either in one end, and open space to the other, or one large table and chairs in the centre for those who fancy a banquet, in the shade of a genuine African Thatched Roof!

Alakefik-Oval (4.2m x 6m thatched roof)
£6395 (includes delivery and full installation)

This is the largest oval thatched hut in our range, but one of the most popular. There is easily enough room for a hot tub and a table and chairs, or a few comfy loungers. The size of the interior of the Alakefik - oval, is simply awesome, yet, as with all of our thatched huts, it doesn’t matter what the surroundings are, the hut instantly looks like it belongs!
