Have you ever wished you had somewhere a little bit different to sit on an evening with friends, or enjoy the shade on a hot summer day without having to go indoors, how many barbeques have come to an abrupt end because of the rain? A beautiful hand made thatched hut or gazebo may be the answer.
We build all kinds of timber structures for the garden, and for the last few years we have added a range of shelters, huts and gazebos, and use genuine African Cape Reed Thatch to construct the unique looking roofs. The beauty of a thatched hut or gazebo, is that it instantly blends with almost any surrounding, and can be as big or as small as you want. It can be used as a place to unwind on your own or with friends, or as a bar area for parties, or a pleasant place to sit and have your meals. We have installed numerous thatched huts at schools for use as outdoor classrooms.

We have kept our website as simple as possible, feeling that the images, together with basic descriptions are enough to portray the unique beauty of our thatched structures.
As well as thatched structures, we carry our a full decking and design service, and can supply and fit all manner of extras for your thatched hut such as canvas side panels, for those chilly nights, roof liners and bespoke tables, chairs and furnishings. Our range of thatched gazebos is complimented by our ‘extra thatching service’. This is the use of African Thatch Tiles to thatch an existing garden structure. We also use timber cladding on some of our huts and gazebos instead of thatch. |

One of our advantages over other similar companies, is that we do not require a pre-formed level base. We can install our thatched huts and gazebos onto almost any surface with little or no preparation by you, the customer!
